This policy explains how Orbit Flip handles information when you play, choose an optional rewarded advertisement, visit this policy, or contact support. Orbit Flip is intended for adults aged 18 and over. No player account is required.
1. Game information stored on your device
Orbit Flip stores scores and personal bests, Classic and Maze level progress, per-level stars and best times, cosmetic unlocks and equipped colors or trails, tutorial status, and sound preferences in the app's local storage. A completed rewarded ad can unlock a cosmetic, and that unlock is saved locally. The game does not upload this save file to a developer-operated server, and it does not provide account-based cloud saves or online leaderboards.
The game currently has no in-app purchases, separate gameplay analytics service, or Firebase Analytics or Crashlytics integration. Advertising services may nevertheless process measurement and diagnostic data as explained below.
2. Optional rewarded advertisements
Orbit Flip integrates Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to offer an optional advertisement for a named cosmetic. You can choose not to watch an ad and continue playing; cosmetics can also be unlocked by earning stars. An ad reward does not grant campaign levels, star ratings, or personal-best times, and retries do not require an ad. Development or testing versions may show sample advertisements; test ads do not mean that the SDK cannot process data.
When an advertising request is made, Google and its advertising services may process:
- IP address and approximate location inferred from that address;
- device, app and operating-system information, advertising identifiers or app-set identifiers where available;
- advertisement views, taps, video interactions and other ad activity; and
- diagnostic information, including performance and error or crash information associated with the SDK.
This information is used to deliver and measure advertisements, operate and improve advertising services, maintain security and prevent fraud, subject to the applicable service settings and your privacy choices. The app requests non-personalized ads. Non-personalized ads may still use identifiers and process data for purposes such as measurement, frequency control and fraud prevention; they are not necessarily anonymous.
We do not intentionally send your saved game scores, per-level times, local star records, or support email messages as advertising targeting information.
Read Google's Privacy Policy, How Google uses information from apps and sites that use its services, and Google Mobile Ads SDK data disclosures for information about Google's processing.
3. Consent and advertising choices
The app uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to update consent information and present a consent form when required before requesting an ad. The advertising code proceeds only after a successful consent flow and UMP indicates that ads may be requested. If the consent check fails, the optional ad is unavailable; you can continue earning cosmetics through gameplay.
When Google requires a privacy-options entry point, open Collection > Ad Privacy Options to revisit the available choices. The options and messages depend on your region and the applicable Google consent configuration. Android settings also provide advertising-identifier controls, depending on your device and Android version. Changing or withdrawing consent affects future processing as applicable; it does not automatically delete information previously processed by Google.
4. Permissions and information you provide
Orbit Flip uses Internet and network-state access for advertising and consent services. Advertising SDK components may also use advertising-related identifiers or permissions allowed by Android. The game does not request access to your contacts, photos, camera, microphone, or precise device location. An IP address can reveal an approximate location without a location permission.
If you email support, we receive your email address and any information you choose to include in your message, such as a description of a problem or a screenshot. We use this information to respond, investigate the issue and handle privacy requests. Please do not send passwords, advertising identifiers or other sensitive information unless it is necessary for a specific request.
5. This privacy-policy website
This policy is hosted on GitHub Pages. Visiting the page sends normal web-request information, including your IP address and browser or connection information, to GitHub. This page has no analytics scripts, advertising scripts, forms or embedded tracking assets. See GitHub's Privacy Statement. External links have their own privacy practices when you follow them.
6. Purposes, legal grounds and sharing
Local game information is used to provide gameplay, remember preferences and retain your progress. Support information is used to respond to your messages and resolve requests. We rely on consent for processing that legally requires it, and on other applicable legal grounds, such as legitimate interests in providing support and maintaining service security, where permitted. Google's advertising and consent processing is subject to its published terms, applicable legal grounds and your choices.
Google receives advertising and consent-related information directly through its SDKs. GitHub processes website requests, and email providers process support correspondence. We do not sell your local save file or operate a public database of player profiles. Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with legal obligations, protect rights or investigate misuse.
7. Retention and deletion
Local game progress and preferences remain on your device until you clear the app's storage or uninstall it. Clearing storage removes your saved progress and locally recorded cosmetic unlocks. It does not erase data already held by Google or other service providers. Any copies you create or restore through device tools are controlled by those tools and your settings.
Google and GitHub retain service information according to their published policies and applicable settings or legal obligations. We do not set a single retention period for data these providers control. Support correspondence is kept as needed to answer your request, handle follow-up and satisfy applicable obligations.
For questions or requests about information we control, email andrix.android@gmail.com with Orbit Flip privacy request in the subject. Because there is no player account or developer-hosted save database, we cannot remotely identify or delete a particular device's local save. You can delete that information through Android settings. We may ask for proportionate information to verify or clarify a request and direct you to Google's or GitHub's privacy controls for records they control.
8. Security and international processing
We take reasonable steps to limit unnecessary data collection and protect information we control. Advertising and consent services use network connections provided by their SDKs. No storage or transmission method is completely secure, and local app storage is not represented as an encrypted vault.
Google, GitHub and email providers may process information in countries outside your own under their applicable privacy policies and transfer safeguards.
9. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of personal information, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, or complain to a data-protection authority. Contact the address above about information we control. Some requests must be addressed to the service provider that controls the relevant records.
- Local progress: use Android settings to clear Orbit Flip's app storage or uninstall the app.
- Optional ads: decline the rewarded-ad offer and continue using the gameplay-based cosmetic unlocks.
- Consent: reopen Ad Privacy Options in Collection when available.
- Device identifiers: use the advertising privacy controls available in Android settings.
10. Adult audience and children's privacy
Orbit Flip is intended for people aged 18 and over and is not directed at children. The current game does not require a player account or ask for a date of birth. Its intended audience is not an identity or age-verification system. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact andrix.android@gmail.com so we can investigate and take appropriate action concerning information within our control.
11. Changes and contact
We will update this policy and the date above when the app's relevant data practices change. Where required, material changes will be accompanied by additional notice or a new consent request.
